ABOUT ALICE
Alice D. Nicks, MSEd., LPC, CDCA is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Chemical Dependent Counselor Assistant. She Holds a Master of Science Degree from the University of Dayton and is licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapy Board. She has completed Mediation Training through the Community Mediation Services of Central Ohio and The Columbus Bar Association. As a clinical resident, Alice is under the supervision of established clinician, Alan Demmitt, PhD, LPCC.
It is the goal of the counselor to develop a therapeutic relationship based on confidentiality, trust and an open dialog. The client can expect respect and understanding during each counseling session. It is through this technique that the counselor will work to empower the client to a better understanding during each counseling session. It is through this technique that the counselor will work to empower the client to a better understanding of the presenting issues that brought the person or persons to therapy.
